The World turned into something no one ever envisaged happening in centuries, everything sounds upside down and challenging the status quo. Lives changed within a blink of an eye. But we are being told that the show must go on, but how? Everything is at a standstill, lives put on the house arrest and the world is shrunk within 4 walls. Work from home or wherever you are, has become the new buzz word, Wow sounds quite dramatic!
Such a jolt to beliefs of Planning the future in advance for days, months, years. Strategize and think long term to be successful, envision the future, run fast, keep acquiring more, MORE knowledge, money, relations, business. Really! Sounds like a fake belief system we were grown on came crashing down, with a question mark on almost everything we trusted and followed from ages.
What next, how do we survive and grow now, in the so looking stagnated state?
There is always a way, provided we are determined to sustain! Adapt, think of the foot, decide quick, fail fast, start fresh, work cohesively and collaboratively, own collectively, innovate to improve, start every time we fail with a better, renewed, learned approach.
What’s all this? Is this what we always knew as the essence of AGILITY? Gone are the old ways of thinking, believing, planning, learning, failing forever. Life happens in a Jiffy we know it for a fact now, with the COVID struck world.
All this reminds and reinforces the principles of Scrum the most popular Agile framework, designed to readjust, iterative, think quickly, remain flexible to deliver significant value consistently.
Stood on empirical values of adaptability, transparency, ownership, self-organize, perseverance, think fast and together, Scrum has come a long way since its inception in the mid 80’s. In the present day, Scrum is one of the most widely applied project management frameworks globally.
A Guide to the Scrum Body of Knowledge (SBOK™ Guide) has been developed as a necessary guide for organizations and project management practitioners who want to implement Scrum, and also for those who wish to make improvements to their processes. It is based on experience drawn from thousands of projects across a variety of organizations and industries. The contributions of many Scrum experts and project management practitioners have been considered in its development.
There is a widespread increase in the demand for certified Scrum Masters and Scrum Experts is a testimony to the fact that Scrum will expand its domain in the years to come. Want to learn and expand with industry experts, having decades of projects/programs/portfolios delivery, coaching and mentoring experience, with a 100% success rate!!
